WAVE CLIMATE MODELLING FOR ENGINEERING PURPOSES
Different types of wave climate models that are needed for studies of coastal or ocean engineering are discussed. Examples of these models are provided with wave measurements made at Figuera da Foz in Portugal. Theoretical models are used to adjust the measured data allowing conclusions as to which provides the best fits.
